30 квітня 2024 року студенти та викладачі ХНУМГ імені О. М. Бекетова відвідали лекцію докторки філологічних наук, професорки, директорки Грузинсько-українського інституту мовознавства та культури Тбіліського міжнародного університету GIU пані Зої Адамії на тему "Культурні та ментальні особливості Грузії" в рамках дисципліни «Міжнародний бізнес та економічна дипломатія» освітньої програми «Міжнародна економіка».
На лекції присутні ознайомилися з давньою історією та культурою грузинського народу, а також дізналися про втілені сучасні проєкти для підтримки українців на території Грузії. Лекторка розповіла, яким чином вирішуються питання забезпечення інклюзивності для наших співгромадян на території Грузії, що є предметом дослідження проєкту Re-Direction, одними з партнерів якого є GIU разом з ХНУМГ імені О. М. Бекетова. Студенти змогли більше дізнатися про особливості підготовки та організації переговорів із грузинськими партнерами.

CULTURAL AND MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GEORGIA
On April 30, 2024, students and faculty of O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv attended a lecture by Dr. Zoia Adamia, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, and Director of the Georgian-Ukrainian Institute of Linguistics and Culture at Tbilisi International University (GIU), on the topic "Cultural and Mental Characteristics of Georgia" within the discipline of "International Business and Economic Diplomacy" of the educational program "International Economics". During the lecture, attendees were introduced to the ancient history and culture of the Georgian people and learned about ongoing modern projects aimed at supporting Ukrainians in Georgia. The lecturer explained how issues of inclusivity for our fellow citizens in Georgia, the subject of the Re-Direction project, are addressed, with GIU and O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv being among its partners. Students had the opportunity to learn more about the peculiarities of preparation and organization of negotiations with Georgian partners.
